These beautiful chalk cliffs are situated on the south coast of England. The Belle Tout lighthouse seen on the cliff tops was decommissioned in 1903 and sold into private hands. In 1999 as coastal erosion was threatening the foundations of the building a remarkable feat of engineering work enabled the former lighthouse to be moved 17 metres away from the cliff face!
I have blended 'textures' and photographs to give give this flat graphic feel.
I have enjoyed creating art since childhood but it has only been in the last ten years or so that I have used textures and multiple images to express different or enhanced emotions and feelings in my photographs.
